Hey guys,

I am putting together a system for video editing.
I plan on using Adobe Premiere Pro.
I DO NOT plan on doing any gaming on the computer.

I just picked up a Core i7 3770K 3.5GHz Socket LGA 1155 Boxed Processor. Is that good enough?
Planning on picking up corsair vengeance 16gb (2x8gb) ddr3 1600mhz. Will that do?
Somebody on another forum recommended the "7970" -- Is this the card in question: SAPPHIRE 21197-00-40G Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card? That thing runs 339 on Newegg.com....is there a better deal for that card else where?
Any good (cheaper, yet good) alternatives to this card out there?

Any good motherboard recommendations that wont break the bank for that setup?

Thanks a lot!

yes the 3770k is enough, but if you are not planning to overclock then the non k will do.
yes also 16gb is enough 1600mhz is fast enough.
if you are not gaming then you don't need the 7970.
a 270 gtx is also oke, but there are more good cards if you don't want to play games.
a good card and cheaper is a gtx 760, still a good card for gaming.
I personally like these motherboard.

If you don't want to spend much on a video card, any that's at least 128 bit will do but 192 or 256 bit is better. The more bandwidth the more details so if you're video editing you'd rather not lack in details.

On the motherboard I'd get a Gigabyte B75. This board fits between the entry level and gamer's setup, it's more of a business board.
