Which of there 2 mobos for music

hey thx for your reply. I was thinking of the sould blaster X FI music extereme sound card will the asus mobo support this card?
 
Yes the Asus will support the sound card. Why are you listing the 2 SLI boards if this is for a music system?

I am just doing some research, i just dont want to get a board that doesnt meet my needs, I'm not really into games but more into music and so i want a board that will give me that
 
You don't need a SLI board, save some money and get more ram and bigger hdd's.
The boards you are looking at are also AMD boards which is great for gaming but I think you would be better off with a intel and non SLI.
Most mobo's will work for your application. Abit, MSI and ASUS are tops.
 
since when the MSI's are buggy? MSI boards are very robust, and high quality. tough.. none of the onboard soundcards is really great.

i had my 801's linked to this pc's soundcard first.. it wasnt very good.
now i have them linked to a pc with the X FI, and its really good :)

I would reccomend the MSI board over that specific ASUS board for virtually anything (and specifically for music as well since that board has hardware audio and the ASUS board does not)

MSI ....... their boards are known to be very buggy
