which of these cards is better?

Hard to say.. They both have good points about them.

The 5770 card has double lifetime warranty, eyefinity, and is a good deal less expensive.
The 460 card has physx, 3dvision, and cuda. Also is 256-bit which is nice for memory.

on crysis warhead dx10, the gtx 460 averages 31fps at 1920x1200, the 5770 averages 25fps at 1920x1200. Both at max settings 0xAA, 0xAF, if that helps give you an idea
 
Keep in mind though that nVidia does have the upper hand in that game. ATi cards always seem to fall behind in that game. Even still though I think I'd still give the edge to the 460, the sheer amount of overclocking headroom those cards have make them very potent at their price point.
