which one is better

i was in the same debate, the first one i think is lower in wattage but it has only 1mb of level 2 cache whereas the 2nd 6000+ has 2mb of level 2 cache. also the first one is the 65nm technology whereas the 2nd one has the 90nm. i'd say pick the new 65nm technology and keep US posted. so you can be the genie pig :P

The second one, its 90nm. but has twice the amount of L2 plus its the F3 stepping. Overclocks pretty good. Clock for clock the 90nm. were faster than the 65nm. In other words the second one will overclock just as well as the first one plus you have double the L2.

im going with the second one because of stranglehold it seems like he knows what hes talking about, plus because this one overclocks better this is the one i want, a cheep cpu that i can overclock to be beast
 
By pass the 00 series Phenoms. They have a TLB bug and when the L3 was loaded it would freeze up. Never happen with the desktop Agena core but did in Lab test with the Barcelona. The Bios fix to correct it killed about 15 to 20% of the performance. If your looking at a Phenom get one of the 50 series, they have B3 stepping with out the TLB problem.
