which one of these cards is better pls help?? 9500GT PCIE 512M DDR2 TV 128BIT DVI HDCP OR 9400GT PCI Express x16 1GB DDR2, or a 7900gt DD3 256MB thanks:):)
 
Of the ones in your list the 9500gt is probably the best. What do you plan on playing though? and at what resolution? None of those cards are capable of maxing out the newest generation of games. Depending on what your budget is and what you intend on playing I would recommend these instead. The 4770 being the more powerful choice. Give some more info though, we need to know what you want to do with it.

These benchmarks don't do the cards justice, look at the 3870??!!! WTF???
It performs good in benchmarks and it's absolutely rubbish in games. 9600GT seems to be alright, don't even think about 7-series cards since you don't share your house with dinosaurs.
 
it very much depends on the memory. a 256-bit 9600gt will be almost 50% better than a 128-bit 9600gt
 
I am confused. Are you buying the video card to "play" in 3d Mark??? Just google the review of the card you want to buy and forget this benchmarks unless you are a 3d mark lover.
 
+1. None of those cards you're talking about is what you'd call "acceptably fast" for gaming...
Save a little money and get yourself a GTS250, HD 4850, GTX260, HD 4870, etc... Then you won't be forced to upgrade the card so soon.
IMO, as long as the card you purchase runs on DX 10.1, and has a 256-bit or higher memory interface (low end cards usually have 128-bit), then it should be fast enough to run today's games on medium quality at least at a mediocre resolution.

Look into the 4650 GDDR3 or 4670, they are similar in price to those cards and perform quite a bit better. For around $49.99 you can get a 4650 GDDR3 edition.
