I've been hearing complaints about the LightScribe. One freeware someone suggested for dvd burning called DeepBurner can ease the worry about software being included with the drive itself. Plus NERO is a very popular and too often recommended burning software. Some say Lite-On is Sony under a different name. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen. The DRU810A would certainly be welcome here over the DRU530 model while this one burns reliably as long as the software is good.
