I am building a computer which will act as a 'sort of' htpc. It has a hauppage digital tv tuner that can record one channel while you watch another and a decent graphics card. I want to be able to watch the tv on it and view pictures and dvds as well as create word documents, surf the internet and play some games. Which os would i be better with, xp mce or vista? I have tried vista before and wasnt all that fussed, although would it be worth using it just for the latest games, although i wouldnt be playing that many games on it as i have a ps3 and my computer before wasnt that great for running vista and this would be more powerful but it was more the experience of using it rather than its performance which i didnt really like.
