Which phone to get?

im looking into buying a new phone with a view of getting a virgin media rolling sim card with 1 gb internet for it. can you recommend a cheap phone to me my primary concern is that it has good quick internet browsing capability for browsing forums and such, i have been offered an old iphone for £100 should i try that instead even though its old?
 
I dunno about Europe but in Canada you can get the htc legend for less than $50 on virgin. I've been very happy with mine.
 
Off topic! Not Sprint! **** Sprint amd their little 22 year old knuckle heads! They can tell spill damage from a micro USB port? Idiots!
 
Sorry I didn't understand your post powerpack but I ended up buying my friends iPhone for £120 which is locked to O2 but I believe there services are similar to other phone companies, Thanks for your help:)
