Which processor is better?

I need help. I have been recommended two LGA 775 Intel processors for my new computer, but i cannot decide which would be better. I plan to overclock as much as i can while still being safe (temperature-wise). My case is well ventilated and equipped with two 120-mm fans and a 140-mm. here is the case:

i want to go with the former because of the price. however, if the performance difference is significant, i will pay the extra cash.
 
seeing as the price difference is so small i would get the e2180.
that will overclock higher then the 2140.

if the price difference was more then i would just get the 2140 and overclock it lots. but its only 10 bucks.
 
i dont reckon the psu will limit your overclocking that much.

with aftermarket cooling you could get an e2180 to say... 3.2ghz..

but with stock at a decent temp maybe 2.6 max?
 
Yeah the E2160 is the best choice since it's just what $2 more than the E2140 and it has 200MHz so its better. And as the E2140 and the E2180, the E2160 is a monster at overcloking. Speaking in overclocking, either one of the E2xxx series will get you from 2.8GHz to 3.2GHz maybe. But the E2160 is the best choice IMO.
