From an AMD fan expect the AMD64 Turion dual cored cpu over the single cored Intel models for a few different reasons to start with. The first already having been mentioned here about the AMD model being dual cored. The Intel Celeron M 380 has an fsb of 333mhz. The Intel Centrino 735A has a 400mhz fsb while the specifications on the AMD Turion 64 TL-50 are as follows.
Process Type: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-50
Frequency: 1.6 GHz
FSB: 1600MHz HT Speed
Cache: L1 2x 128KB / L2 2x 256KB
Process: 90nm SOI
Socket: Socket S1
Power Consumption: 31 W
That swings me towards the AMD model alone.
