which processor should i get?

im thinkin bout gettin a new computer within the next few months.....im just curious of whether i should get AMD 64 single core or double core....let me here your opinions
 
dual core.. i mean if tou can get a beeter one (the dual core) then why go with a singke core.. it all depends on ur money.. just wau for the AMD 5000 to come out
 
Wow even though your 14 are you ever so slightly drunk. Or was it just smush the keyboard time;) ;) Only kiddin! Yeah i agree duel core will be the best.

well you should get a dual core, however wait untill you see the spects of socket AM2,
because you never know when the triple core is comming, lol
depends on how long is your " next few months"
 
If you don't have a small budget just wait for AM2 to come out. I can't stop thinking and talking about it! Finally I will have some up-to-speed tech!

yea if you wait for the AM2 socket to come out, prices will probably drop drastically for the AMD dual core 939 socket procs.

Highly doubtful the PC market will follow the wierd trend established in the console market
