Which Program?

Both are very good,ive ran both of them on my system before.

Nod is good at finding most virus ,but i got a virus it did not pick and my system became unusable until i formatted.

Currently running KIS 2009 and its realy good,low on system resources,updated itself,no annoying pop ups from firewall/update service.

Yeah, I was leaning towards Kaspersky as well.

Would I be set then? Like with AV, Firewall, Spyware, ext?

Get KIS, I mean that has everything built in. As I discussed with you before, I prefer it alot more.

Maybe you should have a poll as well, although I suppose your looking for the rationale as to why people prefer one to the other as opposed to just seeing which one is more popular.

I am not one for purchasing software. I'd much rather find a free program and never considered actually buying something, but right now I'm actually thinking of purchasing Kaspersky, which is unlike me because I'd rather spend my money on lollies and stuff then something worthwhile like a good AV program if you know what I mean :D

Anyway, to summarise all that, Kaspersky has worked much better for me then Nod32 ever did.
 
Why dont try Avira Premium Security??
I consider it as the best. Includes everything Antivirus/Antimalware/firewall/Webguard/Mailguard etc etc.

Why dont u try it first, as u have nothing to lose in case u dont like Avira.

You have actually bought it? Why didn't you get KIS which includes a firewall and all that?
I think that the Comodo firewall is pretty good.
 
trust me, kaspersky is the way to go. It has everything you need, but make sure you get KIS, thats full of everything. Whichever though, they're both very good.
