Which rig - opinions

I'm getting a new rig, I will choose between :

Mainboard Elitegroup G31T-M2
INTEL Core 2 Duo E6750 2x 2,67GHz 4MB
2x DDRAM2 1024MB PC2-667 Aeneon CL4
SAMSUNG SATAII 160 GB T166 8MB 7200
SAMSUNG SH-S202 (DVD Writer)

or

Mainboard Elitegroup P4M890T-M VIA P4M890T S775
INTEL Core 2 Duo E6600 2x 2,40GHz 2MB 266MHz
1x DDRAM2 1024MB PC2-667 Aeneon CL4
SAMSUNG SATAII 160 GB T166 8MB 7200
SAMSUNG SH-S182D (DVD Writer)

I would need the following information :

How many sticks of RAM do each of the mainboards support ?
I plan on putting a GeForce 8800 GT in the rig, will the machine then be "gameable" ?

I would also be happy about how good those mainboards are for overclocking, since those intels got good potential.

Both of those motherboards are horrible, both for overclocking and not... ECS? ... Bad brand right there...

I'd suggest custom :)
 
Ok, I thought so.
Anybody got suggestions for good and cheap socket 775 boards , especially when it comes to overclocking ?
