Which video card works for me?

Hey all,

I'm trying to help my friend buy a video card. He would like to play video games on his 55" tv. Using an HDMI output. Is the GTX 550 enough? or is something better needed. He would like to us 1920 x 1080 and would like to spend around $150.

mostly plays TF2, but would like to play bf3 and skyrim. 530 watt psu, and his mobo is kinda sh*tty, but he will upgrade that later when he has more money. he currently uses onboard video and is lagging hard on tf2. he is using the Compaq CQ5320F... he knows it's not a gaming computer, but it is something that will get by until he has time to build a new one.
 
Is that the PSU that came with it? If it is, you will most likely need to replace that if he wants to use a decent video card.
