Which wireless pci network adapter should I use?

I was thinking of getting a pci network adapter for the wireless internet in my flat, but I don't know which one to get. I have a desktop pc with Windows Vista 64 bit and it has to be able to handle WPA and WPA2 encryption. I'm not too bothered about range and speed, just something that'll work with Vista!

Hi Catkin16-
Any usual PCI network adapter would work just fine. The encryption you speak of is normally secured from the router - if you don't have one get one! The PCI adapter goes into your PC/desktop and once software is loaded it should see the network, the wireless network that is... if you have the router secured as you wish and would like compared to what you said above, then you use that password security code you created and BAM! You will be able to get into it!

If not, drop me a line and lets see what we can do!

Ok, it's just that I've heard that a lot of adapters aren't compatible with Windows Vista, I had an old Belkin USB network adapter that never worked on Vista. The new USB one I'm using now is really basic and keeps breaking for days at a time. I'm not entirely sure what the problem is exactly, but I assumed it was the adapter's fault and not the router so I'm getting a new PCI adapter. Can I really just use any one, will they all work on Vista?
