whick of the two make the best qulity laptop?

I don't know who make the best qulity laptop but which of the two do you guys think make better laptops?

TOSHIBA or HP?

I had always chosed TOSHIBA because i owned one.

What do you guys think? considering the performance and its price?

i'd just get whichever one has better features and warranty for the price

and recovery discs are a bonus, imo

some laptops just don't come with any recovery software............

i mean, printers, i'd say hp's an easy choice, but laptops i'm not so sure.
 
I think HP makes some pretty good quality laptops but I know their enterprise support is complete garbage so the consumer level support is probably pretty bad. HPs website is terrible too.

Basically I would look at what you are getting and compare the price to see which is a better deal and go with that one.
 
Both are very good laptops, and I don't really know of any name-brand computers that supply a restore disc anymore. Pretty stupid in my opinion since you have to have access to the system in order to use the restore partition... Anyway, between the two, I would say that you would be making a very good choice with either brand.

meh, i think hp pushed vista onto laptops WAY WAY too early. i mean jeez. my friend has a vista laptop with a OLD CELERON from intel in it... its just not right, its always running at 100% and you run up ram like its nothing...
 
hp's make good desktops but I herd that there laptops suck but i have never tried one but i would stick with toshiba thats my faviriot laptop brand
 
Yes. I have an old toshiba laptop. Although it it getting old now. It has lasted me a good 7 years. And minus the hardware damage...lol...There arent many things wrong with it yet
 
My brother had a Toshiba laptop and like you guys. I think it is pretty good. it has a 1.6ghz celeron m (1250MB ddr2) but i think it runs better then my 1.5 p4(512mb sdram)

Missed the sale, darn waited to long, nothing good this week. Maybe next week will have some good ones. who knows
