Who Mods ?

who here mods xboxes or have modded theirs? ive got a brand new xecuter 3 chip in mine and an 80 gig hd. i used slayers 2.6 to auto install evox and put the regular xbox dash on mine. anyone know how to install some leds in my comtroller ports? my friend bought one like that and it looks sick.
 
yeah i have a mod'd H@xBoX evox is what im running, i didnt use a chip though, i just did a software mod

About the mod'ing, i would like to mod my xbox also but i just don't have the cash to. How does the software moding work?

u sound like a little kid makin fun of me cuz i like my xbox. but as for the other guys question i have no idfea how to softmod im strictly a chipper. (idk what the hell a chipper is) but if u use a chip then u just have to ftp slayers to ur xbox or you can use a disc.

are you serious? it seems pretty dang smart to me! if you mod your xbox, you can rent games and burn them onto your hard drive then return the game, go home and play it. understand why it's not stupid now? i'm sure there is more modifications that can be made too, to an xbox.:rolleyes:

Tell us more about the xbox mod, seems pretty gud. :) turning a dusty mobo to a xbox w/ blue leds...

[erm actually i just looked at the links they are off two random sites. :eek: ]
 
its a given that FPS's are just better on PC, i mean, what can replicate keyboard; mouse?

but as for racing games, i just cant do keyboard; mouse....the controler thing totally compliments the whole steering thing, better than any keyboard and mouse can (controllers and racing wheels, now thats a waste of money)

overall i think that if you spend 149.99 you can buy a brand new xbox, and get a controller....then purchase whatever size hard drive you want and you will never have to spend a dime on the xbox again, it cost no money to mod without a chip, and every game you rent (like fure said) is yours until you decide to delete it :D .... (or if paying 6 dollars to rent a game is too much theres always other ways of aquiring games :P )
