ok i'm getting a very low card for my first computer, becasue I have little money, I will later get a beter one when i get more money. however I would like to know who produces the best NVIDIA 6200 so I can get one

they are here

They all suck :P Hahah... Well, they aren't THAT bad of cards. I had one, I should know. But I would STRONGLY advise getting another card. As for brands, I always go with eVGA. I don't know who makes the best 6200 as they are all basically identical. Honestly, you probably couldn't tell a difference between them.

lol i no they suck im just getting one so i can get a really cheep computer before i start updrading to all the specs below, im just getting the motherboard and a bunch of cheap components like a celeron.

indeed.. the 6200 (256Mb) is slightly stronger than the x300SE. but hardly worth mentioning tough. ok,.. the 6200 has MS3.0, the x300 doesnt.. but thats about it :o

Yes but the X300Se is cheap and readily comes in non-HyperMemory versions meanwhile all the 6200s came in TurboCache versions

true.. but the non TC card's outperformed the x300SE's ;)

but you are right about that.. and the TurboChache really sucks.. its like having an on on board card in your pci-e/agp slot.. i mean, why would you want to have that? :x

I thought I recalled seeing something about a non-TC, PCIex version of the 6200. There apparently is a version floating around, but it is slightly slower than the TC version.

I had a AGP verion (non-TC) of the 6200, and its a pretty nice card,. there are also non-TC cards of the 6200 on pci-e,.. and they're faster then the TC ones. ( well,. the system it's in will be faster without a TC card)
