Why? 1# J. FPS

my game goes slow motion and gives me 999999 fps and then randomly skips and says 1# J. FPS

I have a nvidia gtx 670 and I reinstalled all drivers still happens..

happened in 2 games so far smite and the game called forge

in forge I can't even get the menus to display properly and the game goes slowmotion from the get go.

in smite usually it happens when I alt tab, I disabled the i7 integrated graphics from bios when I got it installed.. dunno if this is why..

any help is much appreciated, also most games don't let me alt tab in full screen.
 
Install driversweeper first

Then go to the programs and features application in windows and find your current drivers.

Uninstall your current drivers and reboot when prompted

Now use driversweeper and remove all Nvidia driver bits left on the computer.

Now reboot and install the latest drivers directly from Nviudia's site (if possible i'd use a clean download not whatever you have from your update attempts)

If this doesn't work then there's an issue with the latest drivers and the games you are trying to use and the only real solution is to repeat this process but install an older driver that they used to work with.
 
well i just reformated hopefully i dont need to use driversweeper cause I skipped it as I didn;t see any drivers that shouldnt be there
 
did you use it to check? there's generally a couple little registry keys and things that the uninstall leaves behind.
 
I use Ccleaner to clean out the registry, Driversweeper has never really worked for me. What power supply are you using? And what drivers have you tried?
 
I used CCleaner before to clean out registry, then I reformated and everything seems to be working better, thank you
