Why Can't I Overclock?

I am experiencing an issue overclocking my CPU and RAM.
Specs:
AMD Phenom II 940 Black Edition @3.00GHZ
Gskill 4GB DDR2 1066 (I want to clock this from the 800 that my computer is running it at, to is intended 1066)
Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P mobo

When I press delete during start up and enter that blue screen thing, in the MIT tweaker or whatever, everything is greyed out?
Why, and how can I fix it?

Do it from the bios.

I have the same board and no options are greyed out. Its actually a good overclocking board. After the bios loads you can even push Ctrl+F1 and it opens more options.

that's what i used to have to do to open overclocking options with my athlon 64
