I've been using linux for some time now but i still cannot find out why Linux cannot read UDF DVD's is it because of legal stuff or simply not compatible.

Because I have Windows Vista Ultimate (Not So Great) and i burned a DVD in UDF format since thatis the only format there is .. then i put the DVD in my other computer running linux, error came up something like this "Unable to Mount Media" Just wondering if there's a bypass for that.

Do you think it is because i do not close my session when writing to the disc? Because i write to the disc then add more content to it later.

I have no idea what the problem is, but Linux does in fact support UDF. Try burning with out multi session, try different media, try burning it a slower speed to increase the quality of the burn.

|Oh just realized i have a Closed DVD and it did mount on Linux i think the problem is with the Multi Session.
