Why does it run slower?

Hello,
i have a sony laptop with 1.86ghz centrino an 512mb ram 256mb graphics

and my bro has a desktop p43.06 mhz, 1024mb ram an a 256mb graphics card when he plays a few games on my laptop they run really fast (as he like them) but when he plays the games on his own comp they runn fine but not as fast any ideas why?

we have increase the game speed on the games so they are the same and made all the option the same

your CPU is not a centrino...

your PC is better? he might have an X300 or even integrated graphics which would slow him down, he might have 256MB RAM?
 
Your CPU is called Pentium M, not centrino

Centrino is not a name of CPU, it just a wireless chipset associated with mobile processors such as Pentium M or Core duo
