Why Does The Globe Not Say The Right Location For My Friend?

I have a chat and I addad this globe from a website called revolver maps. The globe shows you the location of all the hits you've had on a website. For me and most visitors that have been on my chat the globe has dectected the right location based on the internet server as some people told me that it's right when I was doing a test with them. The only person it's said wrong for is my friend in New York. Instead it dected her as located at Calafornia which is the other side of America. I'm just wondering why it says Calafornia for her instead of New York. :confused:
 
I think she users an internet provider called T1 or sometimes comes up as Richardsons or something like that. It is an internet provider I've not heard of been in England.
