What is the difference between both of them?

Witch one is better for games and witch one is better for work? or with one is better for games and work?

Well There are other programs and addons to XP Pro.. For example I know you can Use Remote desktop connection with pro... But with home you can only connect to RDC.. I dont know what the price difference is... but The home version will be fine fore gaming and working.

...also with the home edition simple file sharing is always enabled... In XP Pro you can turn it off and used advanced permissions.... (more security features with XP Pro) ... In XP Pro you can connect to a Windows Server Domain.. you can have also have group security policies... basically, if your computer is going to be a server or part of a domain, XP PRO is a better fit; but, if - as the name suggests - going to use the computer at home, XP home is the better fit, and less money....

Home is just a crippled version of Pro. At the core there is no difference. The only difference is that some features are disabled. Personally I ignore the home versions.

Yeah but most computer stores sell computers will Win XP Home already installed on them. Its hard to aviod when it served to you on a plate.

Very true, i went for Pro cos it sounds better and i host sites off my PC, im also a streaming webcam server aswell, so i think Pro suits me better, im also on a home network and i use Remote Deskto aswell, i would realy be xcrewed if i had home, if you are doing none of the above then go for home, its bascially the same OS at the heart, and it costs less. Its just not as punctual when you tell people your specs, a killer system coupled with cheapy XP Home.......

XP Pro and XP Home are pretty much the same thing, except XP Pro has advanced security features and network abilities, which you wont really notice if your just gaming.

pro has a lot more settings then home, it may be more expensive, but its worth it, anyway if youre a student you can get about £200 off of pro(uk) . (not sure about the US).
