Why doesn't this board fit in this case?

Hi everyone, I'm making a new computer, but rather than just buy all the parts at once, I'm slowly adding them on to parts that are already lying around. My question is, why doesn't this board fit into this case? Is the case not standard, or is the board not standard, or both? It seems like the ports on the board don't line up with the slots for them on the case quite right, and the screw holes on the back of the case don't line up with the holes for screws on the board.

In case you can't tell, I'm a noob to this sort of thing, so any help or guidance would be appreciated, Here are some pics:

Could you give us the model number of the motherboard and make and model of the computer case? The MoBO looks like its a miniATX and the case looks like its regular ATX.

That is weird, the only way the board would fit is if it was attached to the case panel ( look at the way the I/O is UNDER the Expansion slots)
