Why Don't I understand?

Okay,
So I'm getting this Modular power supply for my Raidmax Aztec. What I realized is that there is only one or two molex connecters and I have like 6 components needing molex. I noticed that almost all of the components that use molex have male and female ends. I think you're supposed to make a loop from psu through female and male ends and then back to a ground? Just when computer building seemed so simple, I run into something that seems so stupid to be confused about.

You're trying to build systems for people and dont even know how to wire them properly? o_o

No it doesnt run to ground you plug the power supply male connector into a female connector into a male connector and so on until you run out of devices to plug into, then either the last male connector will be plugged into something or just loose

Thought most Power Supplies came with atleast 4 molex connectors. You just daisy chain the fans together if they have both male and female connections. But no, the one on the end doesnt plug back into anything.

See that's what I thought, but then I ran into a wierd issue. There was a fan with a molex and a 4pin connecter that plugged into the mobo. All the other fans/components fit in the daisy chain until then. (Also the molex on that component only had 2 pins, not 4. (?)

A bunch of fans come with both a molex and motherboard header connectors, you can use one or the other. Never really tried plugging both in at the same time, dont know what would happen.

Now they do make some with a molex and motherboard header connector with only one wire, you can use both. The board header connector I guess is for reading the fan speed.

Either nothing should happen or you could damage the board, never really tried it

I find the 1 pin connectors for fan speed to be useless, if you have a free header to plug that into, why plug it into your power supply and not your board?

Okay, so I'll just plug that into my board to keep the daisy chain simple. Thanks guys, great explanations, any admins can lock this thread for all I care.
