After I enter my password and hit enter I get a yellow bar near the top of the screen saying "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options...":

How can I stop IE from blocking this site because clicking here for options and clicking: download file:

I get a box saying: The page cannot be refreshed without resending the information. Click Retry to send the information again, or click Cancel to return to the page that you were trying view:

If I click Retry I get this message from the bank:

And yes I tried adding this to Trusted Sites but when I try to copy and paste the entire address of the last bank webpage before the problem starts into the the Trusted Sites form, it only stores the main xxxbank.com format, not all the characters after that which make up the specific page that causes the problem.

You either need to start using Firefox as your browser or upgrade to IE8 as most websites are not supporting IE6 anymore. Most banking sites won't even load if you have IE6.

I tried it with my laptop running IE8 and got exactly the same message. I have no problem with my six other internet banksites to log on.

When you click on download file what does it download? Is it flash plugin?

Nothing, I just get that box saying "The page cannot be refreshed without resending the information. Click Retry to send the information again, or click Cancel to return to the page that you were trying view."

Go into internet options, advanced tab, click on reset IE settings. Go back into your security tab and change it to default not low....
