Why is G-mail Coming up?

Okay heres the problem,
I go onto a website and it has the link to e-mail someone "mailto:[email protected]"
When I click on that it takes me to g-mail instead of my default e-mail client
Can someone please tell me how to fix this. My parents are driving me crazy about it :mad:
 
you need to change the default email program, go the windoes control panel, then go to add/remove programs, on the left side should be four buttons, the bottom one should be set program acess and defaults, then there are three selections, which ever one you have selected, click the plus sign to the right of it, and go down and choose the default email program, this should do it.
 
Hey my friend, have you installed the Gmail notifier recently??? This might be the cause of the problem.
 
Greetings, Yes I did, but then I uninstalled it as I hated it. It really annoyed me.
