Why is it illegal ???

In actual fact, it is against the EULA of apple, regarding mac osx and what it is allowed to be used on. In the EULA it states that mac os can only be used on apple branded computers. It is illegal by their EULA to install it, or modify it to run on a PC.

Guys, by keeping it on their own machines, they keep it "pure".. No nasty errors like Windows or not as nasty anyway...

I don't know how mac gets away with it. It's pretty much a commercial version of Unix. And Unix is free! Why not use it? Basically, if you install Mac on anything other than a Mac, you will void everything. You will no longer be entitled to any kind of support from Mac.

Yea I hate commercials that outright attack a competitors product I really think that is low. So the person who created this I give my hats off to them. I had problems with Windows based PC's now and then over the past 10 years I used them but not enough to consider using Mac's. I am a big video game fan and where would I be with a Mac? Let me not get started with networking them with Windows based PC's and sharing printers....
I am not attacking Mac or Apple I think they make some of the best PC's in the world but they don't meet my needs. Plus if their products are that good then why resort to attacks to promote their products?

perhaps Microsoft wants to hit the apple community, microsoft wants more $$money$$ because if you noticed, apple fans are paying so much, and this prove that they have lots of $$money$$ to waste..

Because they want to control the platform that uses the OS, to help prevent the requirement to keep support of a how raft of legacy platforms and ensure the OS is optimised
It is still illegal, just not in criminal law. The acceptance of the agreement is still a contract between you and apple and hence is a captured by civil law. Repeated offence could be captured by the computer piracy acts and computer missuse acts which could push it into the crimial courts.[-0MEGA-];800069 said:
