Why is my internet connection slow ?

i have cable. browser is downloading sloowww whichever site i go to.
is it my comp, bad connection, or internet provider fault ?

id probably take it up with your internet provider, im sure they would have a technical support line, maybe they would be able to help you

If you exceed your monthly download limit many ISPs will slow your connection. Also, if you have any P2P programs running in the background (some can autoload with Windows) this can slow your internet connection down dramatically. I agree with blakey_boy9, if you don't have any P2P programs running, call your ISP - they are in the best position to help you.
