Why is my new 200gb hd saying i only have 127gb

I recently purchased a new hard drive which is 200gb. Bios is picking it up as 200gb but its only saying i have 127 available? I dont have a clue what is up. The hard drive is definately 200gb. Any suggestions... :confused:

Ive recently got it. Ive formatted it a number of times and havent bothered installing them just yet, you think installing them could sort this?
 
Yea, installing XP with service pack two will fix it. If not, then you have to change some registry values. Microsoft has tutorials, but SP2 will do the job.
