Why is my software freezing?

hello all i have adobe cs2 and it keeps freezing, i cant access it, why could this be but all my other progs work, this is very strange, thanks in advance.

its pc version and its actually only photoshop now, and i need it and my comp is running funy aswell, i dont understand.
 
Well CS2 is pretty demanding, your computer might be having a hard time keeping up with it. Try downloading some of the latest drivers for CS2 and your GPU.
 
cheers, its the first time its ever done it, im also running after affects and premier 1.5 and macromedia studio 8, could this also be causing it to be slow?

i opened it up and it was then working normally, i dont understand because i was doing exactly what i was doing yesterday i dont understand, i followed your advice and i reduced the cache settings. but i still dont get how it worked alrite and im doing exactly the same things, computers are the bain of my life haha cheers!!!
