ECS is very long in the pc buisness however.. and they make really good and reliable motherboards (i had 4 of theyr motherboards so far,.. and none of them died on me )
but yes.. its a lot cheaper because it doesnt have all those extra thingy's most people dont use anyway :)

Edit: and the sound quality is a bit lower than the one on the Asus tough.. but if you have generic speakers connected to it, you wont noyice the difference :)

If you want to run your system stock, then get that board. It should do just fine for you. As said, its not got the frills, and its not designed to overclock. If you don't want to overclock, there's no reason to go out and buy a 150 dollar board that has every bios feature available, the ECS will do fine. If you want to overclock on a budget, the Gigabyte S3 would be a respectable choice.

I briefly considered that board, but because I want to bring my E6300 up to 3Ghz+ territory when I get it, I decided I would go for the S3 or DS3, or whatever new cool board comes out by then.

I've heard many bad stories and had some bad experiences with ECS. I would strongly suggest staying away from them and getting a higher quality board...
