Just like server grade hard drives, they aren't intended to compete with consumer grade drives.

Its in a way supposed to be faster etc. personally I just use HDD

it can hold up to harsher environments, speed isnt a concern, reliability is. 400 bucks in a machine that makes parts and profits for 100s of thousands of dollars a hour, is a drop in the bucket.
