windows picky ?

I mean, i grouped every single pc on my network accordingly to their section.
Like my pc for example falls under the workgroup "Servers" .
But when i browse the network i don't see other pc's (yes they are online) i can probably see 2 or 3 but in most section there's more than 4 pc
also when i do a "search for computer on the network" they are found but not in the workgroup i put them....

any ideas why ?

or anything that needs changing to be able to see them all ??

(not an emergency but it would really help)

Are they setup to share with other computers?

How have you setup your network?

ok, it like this:
a line from our ISP enters our firewall (acting as a dhcp + proxy server)
from the firewall into switch number 1.
Switch number 1 is full so we have switch number 2 connected to sw1 for the dhcp to be able to assign addresses to the other ppl.
basically thats it, nothing big.
And we are not sharing anything, XP should be smart enough to indentify - A,B,C & D under "TEST" workgroup

odd, can you put switches in workgroup ? i didn't know that existed..lol.
no but all the PCs are in the respective workgroup like i said
