Well we had 720p, we had 1080p, now we have 4K which is not even actual 4K.
For year, the interpretation of video resolution was based on horizontal lines. All of the sudden resolution is interpreted by vertical lines.
To add to that. 4K resolution is a standard of professional video and cinema movies (ratio 21:9 and resolution 4096x2160). But what many people call 4K is in fact UHD (ratio 16:9 resolution 3820x2160).
Now why wont we call that 2160p?
