Hi everyone, I have a problem.

I am currently having mayor mayor troubles with Mozilla firefox, adaware and Mozilla thunderbird.

First off, Firefox. When I go to ANY web page, it rarley ever successfully conects on first try. I usually get a "Server not found" error.

With thunderbird, when it's connecting to the mail sever it sometimes fails.

Related? I THINK SO :D Do any of who shiny happy people have any ideas as to what's causing this? I think it's spyware, but I need some opinions.

Ok, this is a nasty one.

Whenever I try to scan my computer for spyware with Adaware, it gets only so far before I get all these whacky problems before a nasty BSOD decides to kill the computer. I'll need to get more information on the exact bsod error code, and I'll post that later. One thing I do notice is that the desktop theme suddenly changes to the windows 95 theme, just before the BSOD shows up.

First, reboot your computer in SAFE MODE, as the ADMINISTRATOR and run your anti-spyware tool.
Next, reboot in SAFE MODE, as YOU, and run your anti-spyware tool.
Next, reboot in NORMAL MODE, as YOU, and run your anti-spyware tool.
Last, go to PandaSoftware.com and run Active Scan to make sure there's nothing left.

P.S. Try Spybot: S & D and Spyware Doctor, too.
