My computer will not come out of standby, and it is driving me nuts. The screen stays in standby mode, and the HD light stays permanenlty (i so totaly spelled that wrong). The parts are MSI K9 neo-f mobo, athlon 64 X2 5000, radeon 3850, 4 gigs ram. Please, one of you out there must know a solution to my issue.

How are you trying to "Resume"?
Look into your BIOS options, Power Management, look around in the "Wake from" or such. See which options are Enabled.
