ok considering the stats in my sig... why would my computer be getting like 170-200 ping in css and have like 30 frames? its been like this sience i put it togather and it doesnt make sense. my p4 and x850 and 512 ram ran better than this

what settings are you running CSS at, and any effects/shadows turned on. and your ping has nothign to do with your PC specs, thats a crappy boradband line for ya. but yeh, 30fps is mighty low for a 7800GT

ok.... this was my frames in the bottom right.... and also.... what is the purple stuff? think something could be rong with my card?
