Wi-fi connection on laptop

I have a samsung nc-10 and its connected to my wifi network via a Belkin N1 wireless router. I keep having an issue where the laptop will lose connection.

It doesnt say it has lost connection but the net wont work and it will throw me out of MSN!

The PC is fine with the internet always works. I have tried resetting the modem and router. No cigar!

I cant fix this on my own!!

what firewall app do u have?I use Komodo, and I had to configure it manually to allow my laptop to connect to my network.

Silly question I know but is your wireless router situated quite close to your NC10 or at a distance? After you lose connection how long is it off for?

The NC10's are good machines so i'm thinking it's either a router config issue or possible a 3rd party application thats running on the laptop causing you to lose connection!

also is it XP? Steve
