Wi-Fi range extender

I live in a big house and the Wi-Fi doesn't have a strong signal into my living room. I have a LINKSYS WRT54G IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless-G Broadband Router. I figured since my router is linksys that a linksys range extender would work the best. That is why i was thinking of purchasing the LINKSYS WRE54G Wireless-G Range Extender. Before i make my purchase i wanted to bring it by you guys first. Any suggestions or product would be much appreciated. Thanks

Most likely you'd be better buying a Netgear router instead of the range extender. Trendnet makes a good high-end router too. Both of these work in a 4500 sq ft house (not including basement) with the router on the main level.

When looking at a higher db antenna pay attention to the sensitivity rating too.
