Widescreen LCD 22" VS 24"

Hi guys.
I'm looking at finally getting a new widescreen monitor.
I was going to try the Dell 2407 24" widescreen monitor, but now I just saw the Samsung 225BW 22" in a retail store.
I have never seen the Dell in person.
The Samsung seemed bright enough, but I see the Dell is rated much brighter.
Price wise, the Dell is about $300 more ($400 & $700 roughly)
Does anyone have any experiences with these 2?
I'm just wondering if the extra 2" of realestate and the added brightness is worth it.
Thanks!

Thanks Omega!
Any idea about the brightness difference?
I'm using the Samsung 17" LCD and it's the same as the 22" for brightness, but the Dell is rated much higher.
I keep hoping my local Dell mall kiosk will get one to see, but so far they haven't.

Do you have any other specs on the monitors, such as response time, max resolution, contrast, brightness, etc?

Heya

a 24" and a 22" differ in resolution. The 24" can do 1920 x 1600 while the 22" can't. Hence the price difference is justified. I would go with a 24" with a HDMI connector so that it would be fully future-proof and ready to display HD Video in 1:1 aspect ratio.

Thats not always true, they have alot of 20.1" and 22" LCD's with resolutions of 1920x1600. Which is why I wanted to know if he knew the detailed specs on both :)

Ok, the Dell 2407 resolution is 1920 X 1200. The Samsung 225BW resolution is 1680 X 1050.
Now here is the next question............
The new computer I'm looking at has this graphics card: Integrated NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Graphics with up to 256MB shared video memory.
How can I tell if this computer will handle either of these monitors?
