Hi Guys,
Specs:
Intel Core 2 duo E8400 3ghz
2 gigs RAM
Windows Vista Premium 32 bit
ZOTAC 8800 GTS 512 mb
Asus 750 Sli motherboard
1 TO Memory
I have some internet problems so I'll explain my situation:
My modem is downstairs, (connected to the familiy computer) and my gaming computer is upstairs, connected via a Netgear PCI card. The walls of my house are thick, so the connection between the modem and my computer appears as: "poor" or sometimes I can't catch a signal, but the speed appears as 54 mbits. (appears on the computer). I can't move my modem so my internet isn't fast enough to play Counter Strike Source that I love.
I was wondering if I should buy a CPL adaptor 200 mbps or if I should change my PCI wifi card to a USB adapter. Do you have any ideas on how to improve my internet or if buying a CPL adaptor will make my internet fast enough for CSS ??
