wifi video card interference

Well I was so excited to get my new video card for my desktop. But now its crapping out my wifi. My optimal resolution for my monitor is 1680 x 1050 through dvi. But when I changed it to 1280 x700, my connection popped right back up to full speed. But weird thing is today my wifi sucks for all resolution. Also I still get 3 bars and get 36.0mbs but i d/l at 20kbs. Before the card I went 200-500kbs. Any solutions? Would getting an stronger antenna with cable extension help or not, since I already have a fair connection.
 
if anyone wants to know, I bought a new antenna with a cable extension and that did that trick. Before that, putting foil on the backside of the case to shield it from the video card, did help somewhat.
