Wifi will not come on automatic

After I installed windows 10, when I turn on my laptop the wifi does not automatic come on like it use to. What is causing this to happen and what can I do to correct the problem?
 
When you set up your wireless connection have you put a tick in that box that says "connect automatically."
 
Is this a newer laptop? So you have to connect manually every time or is it that it just loads so slow it takes time to start the wireless connection? What are the specs of this laptop?
