I just want the best card for the price range around $100-$150. Also, what is the difference between XFX, Gigabyte, Sapphire, ASUS? I'm confused because I see XFX 6850 and Gigabyte 6850 as well.

That's gonna be the 6850, or if you can go to $170, the 6870.

The difference is different clock speeds, warranties, and different coolers. You'll be good with any of those.

That is a very good price. Wolfeking has one and is happy with it. It will get HOT, though.

The gtx480 is still a great card, but like claptonman said it's getting very hot whilst gaming.
