Will a OCZ PSU ModXStream Pro 600W Power Supply work with a pzh550-M Evo motherboard?

Hey guys,

I have a 3 year old custom build PC which went ka-put recently.

When I press the on switch the fan spins for half a second and then the computer does nothing else. All of the power and bios lights are on and the computer was working fine when I shut it down.

This leads me to believe the power supply is busted and isn't sending enough power to the motherboard and as such i'm replacing it.

They don't make my old power supply so I was wondering if the new version of it would power my computer?

The motherboard has a 24pin power connector and two four pin CPU power connectors and it has a GeForce GTX 260 dual 996mb graphic card.

Any help is appreciated

thanks,
Julia :)

Yes.

Before you spend money though, have you tried troubleshooting the system? Might just be a loose connection somewhere. When did you last shut it down and/or how long has it been idle/stored? Are your fans spinning? Can you hear your HDD spin up? Memory seated correctly?

Sounds like it will fit, yeah.
Have you already bought the power supply? OCZ doesn't exactly use the highest quality components, so I would recommend the Corsair CX600M instead.
They cost exactly the same on Newegg right now (both $80)

I don't recommend OCZ PSU. I recommend XFX, SeaSonic and Corsair. Don't buy Corsair unless you really want it.

Have you take your PSU to computer repair for check voltage or you do PSU tester?
