No. All western digital blue and black series would work and a few select models from other manufactures. Also, for them to work you need the the custom firmware they use and the ability to flash it to the new drive.
 
If I understand correctly, he means will any 360 hard drive work in any 360 regardless of the version at the point of sale, to which the answer would be yes
 
Well the only size they sell for the new 4GB slims is the 250GB upgrade. The hard drives from the older generation 360s will not plug into the new 360's.
 
I thought if you opened the container of those hard drives it was just a sata laptop drive in a fancy case, but then again I'm not willing to risk my xbox hard drive to find out lol.
