Will battery overcharge TOshiba?

Hi, I have a Toshiba Laptop (Model No. PSAGCU - 02Q015) and I want to know if it's good to leave my laptop plugged in 24/7 even though I rarely use it. Will the laptop be overcharged? Should I discharge the battery once in a while?

It will not overcharge, or at least should not. Lithium batteries have built in circuitry that should prevent this from happening. As for leaving it plugged in, that should be just fine. I do think it's a good idea to discharge it every so often. I tried to use one of my laptops on battery every week. It'd probably end up at around 40% after class then I'd come home and charge. The battery life never had any noticable drops in life while I had it.
