will i need to buy network cables??

Hi people. im new here!
right, i have a new ISP called Virgin media and they have installed my broadband 20mb - im awaiting for my free router which comes seperately and i want to know if it comes with cables such as ethernet cable to connect my modem with the router??
i really need to know this so that i have some time to buy the cables before recievin the router.

mine came with a 1 foot cable wow lol normally you do what brand and model is the router your getting?

well... i have done a bit of a research today and my results show that the router is possibly "Netgear DG834G 54Mbps Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Firewall Router with 4-port 10/100 switch"

 
Ethernet cable
Phone cable
ADSL phone line filter (most countries)

says it comes with those no spec on how long though

anyway lol , the router is coming from a warehouse or place somewhere located near me and it should include the network cables and stuff right?
if there aint none there - which is the lowest price i should pay for a 2-4m ethernet cable? :confused:
 
Um all depend on speed of internet your aiming for ?

Cat5 cables normally suit most people
and What country your in?
 
Couple of quid. You sure your getting a router with Virgin Media as when we got it we just had a modem come...? Can't remember what it came with it though, cable wise, sorry. Normally you get one cable and two phone filter things. Thats pretty standard I think. Virgin Media was quick, but nearly every month our bill was wrong. They'd always sort it but we had to sit on the phone for 15 mins. Hope thats helps, Doug.

hi yes we got virgin media 20mb broaband and it comes with black modem and a router which has arrives and it comes with the network cables and power cable.
